A Snow Day makes it all ok...
Come walk with us
By the way, it has just started snowing outside haha! ๐ŸŒจ๏ธโ„๏ธโ›„
Oh no shame. Next time :)
From the photos it looks like there is no one there but at times there were a lot of people playing and walking their dogs
I'm walking while listening.

layers of meanings
I also forgot to mention that I made a snowball to feel the snow and texture in my hand.

And I threw as I would have done as child to remember that movement. It was also my exercise lol ๐Ÿ˜‚

Funny typo, we "walked" up to snow instead of "woke" up to
I love the nostalgia!

SNOW___?

wait, why can't there be snowWOMEN
My first memory is of wonderment and magic covered in white.

It was like divine.

I went out with my 4 siblings and played
One of my nieces first snow experience
I think it will melt,
unfortunately,
so no multisensory experiments for me
today!
bare Covid streets
Looked like this from my window.
A pity that everything melt before I was ready for the walk.
I did do walking in the snow on Sunday, well actually my dad brother and I spent quite a lot more than 5 minutes outdoors in the field haha
My location is Russell Square and bloomsbury garden.

So central urban London.

There are people always right?

We live in a city culture :)
It was a bit magical.
Thinking of you, with the snowing today. Enjoy!

๐Ÿ‘โ„๏ธ I think the snow is melting a lot faster in London!

I live in Hertfordshire
and it's often 1 or 2 degrees colder here.
Can we also write a bit about our first memory or encounter of snow?
As we all have different cultures I think it would be super interesting
it was a collaboration among strangers

people would come and do a bit and then leave it half way, and some others would come and add something here and there.

I witnessed how it was taking shape and being built by people who didn't meet.

And when I saw it,
I remembered how you were just talking about snow
the day before.

Was it in 2013 the last big snow in London?

I was here, just for a few weeks and this person that I was to supposed to meet said "If you stop yourself because of the weather, you will do nothing in London".

the streets have been so empty lately,
but the footprints reminded me that other people had been walking the same path as me.
then I asked them permission, if I could take a photo, and they move to the sides so not to come on the frame

Suggestions for a more immersive experience during this
"walking meditation/virtual pilgrimage" (~11 minutes duration):

- Use a mobile device
- Use headphones
- Scroll horizontally
- Scroll vertically
- Zoom in
- Zoom out
- Physically walk around indoors
- Physically walk around outdoors
- See if you can guess the sounds of this snow day (or not, just enjoy as they are)
- Notice how your senses resonate
- Notice memories, thoughts, feelings that emerge
- Give into playfulness and fun
